いやー、最近ずっとなんにも食指が動かないところから脱却しまして。Spoonの新譜をやっとちゃんと聴きました。前のGimme Fictionより、今回の方が好きかもしれません。なんでかわかんないけど、前のはあんまり聞かなかったのですわ。
聴いてて思ったんですけど、私はどうやらBritt Danielsの声がすごく好みらしい。ちょっとだけハスキーなんだよね。あと、たぶん発音も好き。この人達もテキサスなんだよね、オースチンだけど。すごく聞きやすくないですかー？ オレだけ？ どこか（でりしゃすのクリップんとこか？）にも書いたけど、たたずまいも好きです。ハイハット多用のここんちのかっちりしたドラムや乾いたギターの音も、まあどっちかというと好きだけど。アタシ好みにしては珍しくスカスカの音なんだよね。ノイジーなとこもあるけど、そんなに分厚いぜ、って音でもないし。たぶん、それはアタシが声フェチだからです。声が好きだと繰り返し聴いてしまうのだよ。
アタクシ、このアルバム（Kill The Moonlight）が、それでも一番好きかもしれませぬ

記事が前後してるけど、でりしゃすのエントリーにマイスペとかブックマークしてるんだけども…反映されてねーなー（怒 ←ココログメンテだったらしい。
つまり、Fujiya & Miyagiと一緒にフェスに出るとかいう記事に貼ってあったMP3ですっかりハマりましたよ、というようなことを書いたわけですが。なんか最近、こういう癒されるんだか癒されないんだかわからない桃源郷系の音が心地よくってねえ。
ちょっとこれからdigしたいバンドでございます。
上の３枚はマイスペから買うのが吉かもしれませぬ。日本アマには在庫はないっぽい。

Sometimes you have great intentions of diligence and punctuality, and sometimes your airline decides to be late, sloppy, and in love with sitting on the runway. The terra blue chips and (congratulations!) 36 channels of DirectTV didn't quite make up for it, but still -- we're back safe from Lolla, and now that you have our apologies for a late Day Last photo wrap, let's do this. Sunday brought ample opportunity for fest folks to check in with the hype (Amy Winehouse, Peter Bjorn & John), to watch EdVed Lolla gag his way around the fest (first rocking with Kings Of Leon, then riding Dennis Rodman), and to take in a side dish of high art (My Morning Jacket with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra).

!!! (Chk Chk Chk) loses 2nd singer(???) + more Tour Dates
BAD NEWS for !!! (Chk Chk Chk) fans (or good news if you're mean like that). Those coming back from Lollapalooza are bringing reports that the tall other-vocalist in the band - John Pugh - did not perform with the group, and that he has in fact quit the band. I personally am upset at the prospect of not seeing him sing his parts at the upcoming Webster Hall show with The Field, but someone else I talked to said they were more than fine with this change...What do you think? The most updated-latest !!! tour dates below....

The Black Angels @ Schubas, Chicago, 8/4
For the record, I’ve never ingested any kind of psychedelic drug, but I imagine if I did, the result would be an experience that would have a soundtrack by the Black Angels. Playing to a sold-out crowd while in town for Lollapalooza, the Black Angels conjured up a hazy, gritty, sultry and yes, psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll that transports you to another level of consciousness. If Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is a more accessible form of this genre, and Brian Jonestown Massacre is a less accessible, more self-indulgent incarnation, the Black Angels straddle both sides of the fence to sublime perfection.

In turn, one day after the UK release of their fourth full-length Roots & Echoes (fifth, if you add the Nightfreak and the Sons of Becker mini-album), the Coral remind us how interestingly decadent folks are getting with their personalized streamers: Dr. Dog's all karaoke-style; Devendra's got pretty pictures; and the suave, semi-bowl '60s redolent UK sextet appoint it tastefully with black, tan, and red. Muse storm Madison Square Garden
Teignmouth trio Muse stormed into New York City to put on a stellar performance at Madison Square Garden last night (August 6).
During an epic 100-minute set filled with flares, lasers, balloons and intense light shows, the band played material spanning all four of their albums and even threw in a couple of impromptus jams for good measure.

Cat Power 'Covers' Her Tracks
Singer/songwriter Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, revealed in a blog post on her MySpace page that she will release a new record January 2008. The LP will include tracks chosen from a studio set of 24 covers and will be titled Covers Record 2, following her 2000 release, The Covers Record, which featured Marshall's take on tracks by Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Pavement and others.

Lily Allen's manager has responded to news that the star has been denied a US visa, calling the reports "rubbish".

Yep, another week, another visa debacle. According to a BBC News report, outspoken pop tart/shoemaker Lily Allen was detained at Los Angeles International Airport this past Sunday (August 5), questioned, and stripped of her U.S. work visa.

The singer had her US visa cancelled after being held at an American airport, locked in a cell and strip-searched, reports The Mirror.

Courtney Love has spoken out about on alleged comments Lily Allen made about her on MySpace.
The comments were widely reported, but Love said Allen claimed they were down to the fact that her MySpace site was hacked into.
Allen allegedly wrote: "I am not bfs (best friends) w/ (with) C (Courtney) Love, one night with her made me realise why Kurt (Cobain killed himself."

EMI have revealed that revenue from CD sales fell by 19.8% during a three month period up to June this year.

Lily Allen In US Immigration Drama
Lily Allen has had her American work visa retracted after coming into difficulties at Los Angeles International Airport.
The singer was travelling from to the US from Australia when she was detained for five hours by customs and immigrations officials. The star was due to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards nominations party in Las Vegas.
US officials were concerned by a police caution relating to an alleged altercation with a photographer in London in May, reports WENN.

With Our Love to Admire, Interpol have tackled the problem of what to do on a major label debut by incorporating a little extra studio trickery into their tried-and-true formula. Three albums into their career, the biggest change in their aesthetic is non-musical. They present themselves to the public now with less of their old monochromatic NYC mystique and a little more focus on their individual personalities, not the least of which has to do with the rise to prominence of bassist Carlos D and his many hobbies: classical composition, film work, tending to his Italian Greyhound Gaius, and growing one hell of a moustache.
